Reading Royals set to open camp

The defending Atlantic Division champion Reading Royals are ready to hit the ice for the 2011-12 season with their training camp, set to open Friday, Sept. 30.

On-ice sessions will be open to the public and some merchandise will be available. Two practices over camp will be, what the Royals are dubbing, “fan-friendly.” They will hold two evening camps for fans to attend.

All on-ice sessions will be held at the Sovereign Center in Reading.

The Royals have also announced individual game tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. Season ticket holders may purchase individual game tickets on Monday, Sept. 26.

Friday, Sept. 30: 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 1: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 2: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 3: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 4: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 5: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 6: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 7: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8: Pre-season game at Elmira Jackals
Sunday, Oct. 9: Pre-season game vs Trenton Titans
Monday, Oct. 10: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 11: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 12: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Opening day roster will be announced around 5 p.m. on Oct. 12.
