GAME 3: BOS 3 – TBL 0

TAMPA – Unlike the last game, it was a low-scoring affair between the Lightning and Bruins and completely one-sided on the scoresheet.

It only took 1:09 for the Bruins to get on the board with a goal from David Krejci. It was his seventh of the playoffs and he leads all Boston skaters in goals.

The next goal did not come until 8:12 of the third period, and once again it was from a Bruin. This time it was Andrew Ference with his second of the postseason.

Neither team could capitalize on three power play chances. The Bruins continue to struggle with the man-advantage.

NEXT GAME: Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

SERIES: 2-1 Boston

EAST:

3. Boston Bruins – 2
5. Tampa Bay Lightning – 1

WEST:

1. Vancouver Canucks – 2
2. San Jose Sharks – 0
