No. 1 Vancouver Canucks vs. No. 2 San Jose Sharks
GAME 1: VAN 3 – SJS 2

VANCOUVER – Things looked to be going the Sharks’ way, but the Canucks stormed back to secure the win and a 1-0 series lead.

It took almost an entire period, but Joe Thornton was able to pot one for the Sharks with 1:13 left in the first to give them a 1-0 lead.

Maxim Lapierre tied the game less than two minutes into the second, but Patrick Marleau‘s power-play tally gave the Sharks the lead back.

The Canucks, however, scored two goals in the span of 79 seconds in the third period from Kevin Bieksa and Henrik Sedin to take the lead and the game.

NEXT GAME: Wednesday at 9 p.m.
