No. 2 Philadelphia Flyers vs. No. 3 Boston Bruins
GAME 1: PHI 3 – BOS 7

PHILADELPHIA – For the second series in a row, the Flyers failed to take advantage of home ice. Difference this time? It wasn’t a shutout and it definitely wasn’t a close game.

The Flyers were smoked, 7-3, in their building as once again, a goaltender was yanked between the pipes. Brian Boucher laster into the second period, but after the fifth goal, Sergei Bobrovsky replaced him.

Nathan Horton, Mark Recchi and Gregory Campbell each had a goal for the Bruins. David Krejci and Brad Marchand each tallied two.

Danny Briere and James van Riemsdyk continue to be on fire for the Flyers, both scoring. Mike Richards scored his first of the postseason.

NEXT GAME: Monday at 7:30 p.m.

SERIES: 1-0 Boston

No. 1 Vancouver Canucks vs. No. 5 Nashville Predators
GAME 2: VAN 1 – NSH 2, 2OT

VANCOUVER – It was Pekka Rinne‘s show as the Predators tied the series with the Canucks with a 2-1 win in double overtime.

Alex Burrows struck first shorthanded two minutes into the second period, but it would be the only goal the Canucks could muster against Rinne.

Tha Canucks seemed to be on their way to another 1-0 win, but Ryan Suter tied the game with 1:07 remaining in the game.

The goaltending dual of Rinne against Roberto Luongo kept the game going past the first overtime and almost through a second before Matt Halischuk scored at the 14:51 mark of double overtime.

NEXT GAME: Tuesday at 9 p.m.
