The Flyers held a Super Skills Competition Tuesday night for the fans in the Wells Fargo Center. Over 11,000 people showed up for the event.

Joe Paterson was named head coach of the Phantoms Monday morning. John Paddock will return to his duties as assistant general manager.

The ECHL announced Wednesday the Greenville-Gwinnett match that was postponed has now been rescheduled for February 22.

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
In the last game before the holiday break, the Flyers seemed to have mentally checked out. The team never showed up as they were downed Monday night, 5-0, to the 26th ranked Florida Panthers. There was no emotion and no effort from the Flyers.

GREENVILLE ROAD WARRIORS
The Road Warriors followed up their scoreless regulation game with a 4-goal win over the Gwinnett Gladiators to send the players home for the holidays on a high note. They will pick up next week as the first place team in the ECHL.

THE WEEK AHEAD

The Flyers return to the ice on their annual western road trip. They start Tuesday night against the Vancouver Canucks. Then they head to California to face the Los Angeles Kings Thursday and Anaheim Ducks Friday.

The Phantoms get right back into action the day after Christmas when they face the Binghamton Senators Sunday. They finish their road trip Tuesday against the Syracuse Crunch and begin their home-stand Wednesday when they play the Manchester Monarchs. They continue at home Friday against the Springfield Falcons and Saturday against the Albany Devils.

The Road Warriors face a week of the South Carolina Stingrays. They play them at home Monday and twice on the road Wednesday and Friday.
