The second round of voting tallies came out Tuesday from the NHL and it still shows evidence of Philadelphians trying to get their Flyers to the 2011 NHL All-Star Game.

Only three Flyers changed rankings from last week, while the rest stayed in the same position.

Captain Mike Richards has fallen one spot from last week to seventh as Montreal Canadiens fans have pushed Michael Cammalleri up three spots passed Richards. Write-in candidate and breakout player Claude Giroux has moved up two spots to ninth and is even gaining in votes to Richards.

Danny Briere and Jeff Carter stayed in the same spot, 12th and 17th, respectively.

Making an appearance in the counting this week is Ville Leino down in the 73rd spot.

Chris Pronger has made a big push towards the first place spot and has move up to second. He is only 93 votes behind leader Duncan Keith of Chicago. Kimmo Timonen remains in fifth place.

Still the most shocking part of the voting is in the goaltending category. The leader continues to be Montreal’s Carey Price, followed by Sergei Bobrovsky. The best part is that neither were on the ballot and both have had to be written in by fans.

As it stands now, the six players going to the All-Star game are Sidney Crosby (PIT), Steven Stamkos (TBL), Jonathan Toews (CHI), Keith (CHI), Pronger (PHI), and Price (MTL).

So Flyers fans, we have a couple players moving up, but we have to work on getting all of them moving. So go vote! Finished? Vote again! And just for fun, make it a hat trick and vote for a third time! And while you’re riding the bus, train or subway home from work or school, text the last name of the player to 81812 to get more votes in!

Please note that for forwards and defensemen, I have posted only the top 30. To see the entire rankings, visit the NHL’s site.
