Standing at 6-3, US goaltender Jack Campbell will be either the first or second goalie taken in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft on June 25.

He will best be remembered for his performance at the 2010 World Junior Championships when he took over in the second period in the goal medal game against Canada. Team USA was facing a 3-0 deficit when he entered the game and made 32 saves out of 34 shots en route to a U.S. win in overtime.

Campbell also has compiled two other gold medals after backstopping the U.S. to two consecutive championships at the 2009 and 2010 Under-18 World Championships.

At the 2010 U18 World Champions, Campbell was awarded the Top Goaltender after leading the Tournament with a 0.83 goals-against average and .965 save-percentage along with three shutouts.

In four tournaments on Team USA (U17, WU18, U18, WJC), Campbell’s highest goals-against average was 2.54 and his lowest save-percentage was .916. His best numbers were in the 2010 U18.

Campbell will join the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League next season.
